Call Sheets

We created these call sheets to record the two dates we will be filming and they include everything we will be needing on that date, we have one for each day of filming. They allow us to be organised and keep all of our information in one place, I find them especially useful as we can write the shots we will be filming, this way we will not miss any out which we have done in the past when not using call sheets.

Shooting Script

Our shooting script is very important and detailed so we can understand what we are doing exactly in each shot, we know the type of shot, the length of the shot and the action occouring in the shot and more. These are very useful when filming so we make sure we have a variety of shots and keep to our plan. I also like them as they allow us to see how long approximately our work is going to be so we can make sure it is of a suitable length for an opening sequence.

Production Schedule

Our production schedule is one of the main part's of planning, this allows us to see what we are doing every single day for three months, and I like it because it is simple and easy to read, I also think it is useful as we can give it to our actors or anyone else who is helping and they can also easily interpret what is written, it allows everyone to see what they are doing on each day and therefore avoids going over deadlines.

Location List

Filling out our location list was a very quick task as we do not film in many locations, we chose these ones as we feel they represent the BSR genre well, as well as the characters and their backgrounds. We only have four locations as we are only filming an opening where not much happens, this is useful to us however as we can tick off each location as we go along, and if we were filming somewhere which needed to be authorised it would make sure we done it before going to the location to film.

Cast List

The cast list was important so we could see who we need to ask to give up their time, we also chose these people as we know they are very good actors, their costume is extremely important as it is part of the mise-en-scene and allows the audience to create representations in their mind. I also like the cast list as we can writ the dates we require each actor/actress so we can refer to this and ask them quickly, we could even give them one each to remind them the days they are filming and their costumes.
